1. The Client

I want to know everything about your business, the services or products you offer and in relation to your competition. What’s the message you are trying to convey and through what means? What demographic do you wish to reach? What quantifiable results do you want to achieve? Lastly, what sort of timeframe are you on?

3. Presentation

I present the aforementioned concepts to the client, usually a PDF, before choosing a viable one for further refinement. It’s now the job of the client to review the designs and provide feedback, e.g., font, color, artwork and copy, their position within my layout and the vector artwork or pixel images to include in the final edits.

4. Completion

Sending all finished comps to the client and making sure they are absolutely satisfied. 

2. Development

A diagram, storyboard, or wireframe have all been very useful in developing my preliminary design concepts. In this stage, I choose the comprehensive design elements if they are not already given to me by the client. All design elements will be populated in a layout template and presented to the client.

4. Edits

After the presentation I make changes to the aesthetic elements based on the client’s requests and put the finishing touches on the design. With an approved design, I implement the finished piece across all deliverables, which may include both print and web.

Designed assets to visually communicate the desired message and projected brand/identity for vegan restaurant, Red Bamboo. Logo design with revised tagline, cleaner typeface and brighter color scheme. Seven new menus. Brand appropriate graphics and collateral for apparel, business cards, signage and stationary.

2015 - 2018

Wix responsive web design for a vegan restaurant in Greenwich Village. Features include: online ordering for pick-up, catering and delivery, accepting credit card payments. Message and contact form. Social Media feeds and gallery. Brand appropriate graphics and collateral for website and social media platforms.

Project Manager

2015 - 2016

The design and management of content for the 20th Anniversary Summer Series Program Guide. Monitored the submission and accuracy of deliverables for 120 Short Films and 30 Feature Films (58-page soft cover book). Composed detailed spreadsheets, correspondence and weekly status updates with approaching deadlines. Prepared digital files for print, web, archival and distribution. Astute attention to the inclusion and accuracy of content and that all company guidelines were consistent and met with precision.

E-mail marketing for a boutique children’s apparel store located in TriBeCa. Developed copy and image selection for Winter Solstice Sale. Designed the layout / mock-up in InDesign.  Converted assets for web and uploaded to Mail Chimp for consumer e-blasts.

Implemented innovative strategies to save money, time and resources. Two promotions, assisting the 2nd Unit Production Manager and Executive Producers.Projects include: "Annie" Production Office Directory, a new system for acquiring crew ID badges, and expediting the executive lunch process by developing a digital online submission system via Google Forms. Assigned additional responsibilities for other departments: Locations / Scout Packets, Travel Coordinator / Welcome Packets, Gift Baskets and Local Service List.

Managed art studio, archived valuable artwork and publications, inked film storyboards. Coordinated international / domestic travel. Researched and compiled a film noir style guide for Art Director and developed a quick–reference book for interns to minimize errors and streamline workload while out on location.
